We own an investment property in Boston and recently flipped a home in Atlanta - both of which were big projects, but ended up being fantastic experiences that made us fall in love with real estate.

I can think of 4 areas off the top of my head where I would look first with 60k to spend.

I think this is primarily because there isn't much of a market for it, and the kinds of deals that can support large legal fees (which would attract top talent) are larger commercial deals.

It is definitely one of the top questions when I interview.

It is a booming area right now, Saint John and Crown Point are up within the top five areas in Chicago MSA.
