Hello I am 17 yr old in the Chicago area and I want to know how to create bonds and relationships with real estate investors because I want to gain their knowledge and I am willing to offer my time and work for their knowledge, I do not know how to approach them in a way that makes it akward or make me look lazy and just looking for handouts.

Somewhere along the lines it has become acceptable for those who haven't worked to achieve anything to blame those who have worked hard to get where they areI don't know if its parenting, education system or governments handouts but it has created a system where people feel they deserve everything without having to work for it.Example is tenant friendly laws like NY where a tenant can basically live for free for a year just because they dont want to pay rent.

Over the last year there have been a ton of government handouts, including "child tax credit", "enhanced unemployment benefits", etc., that could have given people a false sense of security and propelled them into poor decisions.

Our gov wanted to give handouts to tenants and I guess they assume landlords are rich.also, I strongly recommend you hire a property mgr. 3 units not paying rent is extremely poor performance for a property even for during covid
