Hello I am 17 yr old in the Chicago area and I want to know how to create bonds and relationships with real estate investors because I want to gain their knowledge and I am willing to offer my time and work for their knowledge, I do not know how to approach them in a way that makes it akward or make me look lazy and just looking for handouts.

I'm not looking for handouts or to waste anyone's time.

At an event, I'd rather hand out a business card than take the time to leave conversation to input info in my phone. 

Somewhere along the lines it has become acceptable for those who haven't worked to achieve anything to blame those who have worked hard to get where they areI don't know if its parenting, education system or governments handouts but it has created a system where people feel they deserve everything without having to work for it.Example is tenant friendly laws like NY where a tenant can basically live for free for a year just because they dont want to pay rent.

Im not asking for any sort of hand outs as i know in this business, its what sort of value i can bring to the table.

Over the last year there have been a ton of government handouts, including "child tax credit", "enhanced unemployment benefits", etc., that could have given people a false sense of security and propelled them into poor decisions.

Just 2 GA'ers.PM me I can at least boil this down with a handout I give out.== Why offer seller finncing at all?

The classic way of handling issues is to hand out fines or threaten eviction.

Our gov wanted to give handouts to tenants and I guess they assume landlords are rich.also, I strongly recommend you hire a property mgr. 3 units not paying rent is extremely poor performance for a property even for during covid
