Chemical treatments are too slow are rarely work, especially on bad cases of bed bugs.

There were never any explosions, but are there any chemical or other things we need to make sure we look/check for when we do a walkthrough?

@Jim Goebel I forgot to add that the contractor would remove any visually damaged joists (he will coat the rest with mold chemical)Also, the leak was below subfloor.  

When she went to the University of Arkansas I was never able to go there but she turned out to be a great daughter, is now a graduate in chemical engineering and works full time.

I contacted some mitigation companies today and it looks like $3-4K to have a "ambient" treatment performed where they heat all units to 130+ degrees for 5 hours and then spray with chemicals.

In other areas of beautiful and cheap land, there are groundwater contamination zones in certain places due to chemicals used in the 70s and before on golf courses and nurseries.  

I live In a small rural industrial town in southeast texas where the chemical plants are literally bigger than the city in which I live its about an hour south of houston on the coast.
