How long does it usually take for the city/state to record this in their books/archives ?

I found BiggerPockets through an internet/podcast search-- lots of information archived here I can't wait to explore!

We could send someone over to the archives to search the title books which have not been imported into the electronic Land Registry, but it would be far cheaper for you to shell out $300 for title insurance).Most commercial lenders here now mandate you purchase a lender's policy.  

Another major benefit to this method is it leaves you with a great easily sortable archive of all your invoices and receipts.

The inspector told me that the permits might be too old or archived.

We use Gsheets to keep a shared accounting for various assets and projects so that we can share this amongst team members in the cloud, along with Google drive and Sharefile to share documents and archives projects.
