Long story short............. under my schedule e he put 365 days fair rental days when I purchased the property 8/20/14 and was really only like 120ish fair rental days.

The house is two stories, 1800 SQ FT, with a beautiful lake view.

The following story involves a bank owned, 3 bed, 1 1/2 bath 1 car SFR ranch with full basement, 1200 sq. in the beautiful Poconos.

Whether the heart attack story is true or not, it seems like an excuse.Back in November, just a day or two past the first of the month, one of my tenant's suffered a serious sickness and was hospitalized. 

 :)Also any stories about how successful friends have changed your life would be appreciated.

Long story short... it's illegal for the landlord to do..

There is more to the story but the point is to show that you should still value the money in a deal even if its yours.This doesn't mean you shouldn't use your own money or do the work yourself but not accounting for what you would have paid in both situations is creating a job not an investment.
