This will take time to build relationships and find the right deals. 

Additionally, I got to network and build relationships with other multi family investors and real estate professionals.

The rates and terms are less favorable for commercial deals unless you have a relationship with a lender so be prepared for that.

@Scott Champion  If you have a good relationship with a property manager, that would be even better, so you can determine your stabilized value. 

Investors, mostly new ones, are hoping to pay to make it easier, but investing and building relationships with off-market sellers is not easy.

It is a seller's market (like most parts of the country) and the agents we are vetting have all emphasized how important it is that the agent and lender have a good relationship.
