Easier management especially when it comes to filling vacancies, and those middle of the road homes/areas tend to appreciate slow and steady fairly predictably.Again, doesn't mean you can't deviate from that if you see an interesting deal that you like (maybe one with a huge equity capture but less cash flow or vice versa).

Most products used in the US construction industry have to meet high standards to ensure they do not pose a threat to people, apparently the testing was not adequate in this case....  

This is frustrating for me because it slows my progress or growth due to the fact that I must grow these connections with various members on my team.

I'm having my local ins co try to find a product that's closer to a traditional homeowners policy but still covers my bookings and at a decent price. 

If the fast nickel is 5 years faster than the slow dime of a rental, go for it.  

The ones who work for a larger brokerage and push products onto you are nothing more than glorified salesmen who will neither understand nor care about your finances.
