First rental or first flip

hello everyone, just curious wanted to ask people with experience, I'm wanting to I both, but because I'm a newbie I know I have to start somewhere what do you guys thinks Should I start off with a rental first or go for a flip

I really depends on what your financial situation is and what you want your life to look like.  I personally prefer buy and holds but If I could do a flip and know I would make a decent amount of money you could always do a flip first then use that money for a rental.  its hard to give advice without knowing you or your goals.  Honestly I don't know what your market looks like either but I would do whatever came first in my market its getting harder to do either.  Good luck and just keep moving forward
