I would also want to sign a "release from liability"4 I would also want some way out of the contract if things didn't go as planned.I think it's a grat idea to help build a stronger community, especially if you have residents that are intrested in the organization.

I've used this with tenant buyers, but in a non-profit environment, it works fine but it does carry more risk for you, you may not want to go there.

or, in tenant paid heat units, them heating my house so i dont bust pipes.it also organizes my rental schedule, and i think brings certainty to the tenants' lives

We have the house we want for our first primary residence picked out, which should provide us with decent instant equity, but going through credit repair to be able to qualify for a FHA 203k mortgage.Ultimately, we'd like to build a small rental portfolio to cover personal income requirements, and start an organization to provide assistance to veterans and their families in the areas of transitional housing, needed home repair, and job training.

A broker or agent does not need to be a Realtor, that is a professional organization but since the NAR sponsors the MLS, you may not get access, you'll find many commercial brokers are not Realtors.

Apparently they are working on a way to attend dinner meetings without the dinner for $10 but sit in a different area.Check the calendars of these organizations and you can see who the event speakers are and if it is worth the investment.

Phillip is right, pick the shop that best suits what you will be doing....Usually, a new agent really won't know what they will be doing as there are many roads to follow....The main thing, IMO, initially is training, how to use the MLS effectively, phone work and legal requirements, local issues and cases, best advertising means, sharing experiences with other agents, these areas and much more will generally have more support in a larger organization.

Buy a few books from Amazon so you can learn some well organized detailed on buy & hold.Everything I've read about buying land has just led me to believe it is a horrible investment.
