Greetings,

My name is Mark Saxon II. I'm a Marine vet out of OIF. I'm born and raised in Pittsburgh, and it seems to keep drawing me back. But that's okay, because the land values are rather low compared to the rest of the country and our bust was back when the mills closed, as far as I'm concerned.

Currently, I'm recovering from a period of unemployment after leaving the military. I started working at the Pittsburgh VA in October, and married a wonderful woman (Crystal) on April 20th. We have the house we want for our first primary residence picked out, which should provide us with decent instant equity, but going through credit repair to be able to qualify for a FHA 203k mortgage.

Ultimately, we'd like to build a small rental portfolio to cover personal income requirements, and start an organization to provide assistance to veterans and their families in the areas of transitional housing, needed home repair, and job training. And hopefully along the path, be able to find some veterans interested in property in some form to be able to build our network locally.
