Portland Connects & REIA groups

Hello All.

I am pretty new to RE investing. I am soaking up everything here, plus Rich dad books and podcasts from BP. In all of this I am finding the best advice to start is to join local REIA groups.

Does anyone in the Portland / Vancouver area know of some good groups to join? I have looked a few up, but one wants me to start a membership (maybe later). Just looking for a free place to hang out with local investors and glean from others that have been at this a while.
