Rather than bringing home all that cash (read: tax money) and creating tons of new jobs here, my strong suspicion is perhaps only 10% of that money will be repatriated (some CEOs taking the gamble that they won't have another opportunity to bring it home at a lower rate in the future) and it will end up costing us jobs due to higher tax payments, not creating tons more as he thinks.

You can look at asset lending platforms like B2R financing and see if they could assist.

You may be able to get the property for a low price, but it's a steady gamble depending on how far north it is.

Timing any market is a gambling mans game, some will win, but most will lose.

I am intrigued by the crowdfunding platform as it seems promising.I am interested in hearing from people who have either raised funds and tried to raise funds through crowd funding.

Just know that most equity deals offered on platforms like Realty Mogul, RealCrowd, etc have minimum investment sizes of at least $10K-$25K so it makes it kind of hard to diversify.  

There are some rental platforms on the Web that cover all aspects of rental application service and don’t charge high fees.
