Mostly all of my free time is spent listening to BP podcasts, lurking in the forums, and analyzing deals in my market.

But we've spent an absurd amount of money and dealt w/ a lot of Home Depots bullsh%t in order to build this relationship.

I started renting a small storage unit where I can keep any extra refrigerator (these had been difficult to find in my local big box stores lately), range and washer and dryer as needed (including if my own washer/dryer suddenly kicks the bucket).

While I’m new to the REI arena, I believe I have a good grasp of the RE lingo/ terms as I have spent the last couple of months reading, listening to podcasts, watching YouTube videos, taking notes, building a plan of action.

First step for me was electrical because I had old fuse boxes with some knob and tube wiring, which needed to be updated so I could add overhead lighting, dishwashers, GFCI/regular outlets, exhaust fans, ceiling fans, etc.

I was wondering who might be brave enough to share any unexpected pitfalls/struggles that they encountered by being their own property manager of a multi unit apartment.As I began thinking about managing a multi-unit (especially one such as a 10-30 unit dwelling), I tried to think outside the box about possible unforeseen challenges outside of the typical calls "my sink doesn't work" or "my toilet doesn't flush". 

I spent one day visiting one listing g 20 minutes from my home. 

Trust me because I spent 15 years in the analysis-paralysis between 2005 and 2020.
