It's true that you never really understand the other side's perspective until you stand in their shoes, isn't it?

Shoe's on the other foot now isn't it.

Some of the feedback I received was that we should have showcase or have people tell some of their active projects and have people ask questions.

I joined BP in hope that I can link up with some good folks who have been in my shoes (motivated, yet confused) and to gain as much knowledge as I can while providing any assistance to professionals in my area.

If I were in your shoes, I don't know how I would have felt about essentially working for the owner of the property for free. 

I'm new too - so in the same shoes as you - and also nearby (Harvard, MA).

I have little knowledge in real estate investing other than watching some of the tv shows which always showcase exceptionally successful investors. 

We actually put on our tennis shoes, get out the double stroller with the kids, put on our company tee shirts, and start knocking on doors/or hanging door tags.

If I am in your shoes I would find out if landlord would take extra cash monthly so u can keep second pet.

You also have to put yourself in their shoes.
