Just want to know what to focus on for the time being.Also, I have heard it is possible to essentially roll a student loan into the financing of a house, by financing a higher amount and paying off the student loan with the difference.

You never want to start looking at properties that are ultimately going to be out of your price range, so a pre-approval helps to get you focused financially.

Focus on your own personal goals ... not on what's going on next door. 

Ipersonally wanted long term semi-passive income with it also serving as retirement funding so I focused on apartment buildings.

Personally I am not looking to focus on wholesaling but I have to say this is a great mindset episode.

If it helps at all, I plan on using a buy and hold strategy focused on cash flowing properties.

While I preferred not to sell, it's the best way for me to focus my time and money on multi-family apartments. 

He focuses on ceiling textures but does plaster as well.My team and I install windows. 

You might have better luck in Huntersville and Cornelius, I have not really focused in those particular areas.I was able to grab a duplex in an off market deal that I am house hacking with a conventional mortgage.
