Is he in any way holding a good hand here or can I simply dismiss this letter as a threat?

I know that there are other states where that rule applies, so that is something you should check into.I sure hope you know to not give them a penny until all their stuff is out and they hand you the keys.

Just too much fast talk, flashing fingers and sleight of hand, hidden words, etc.The fact that I couldn't find a house I was willing to pay even near the asking price for was what kept me from buying.

Considering that about 2/3 of the recipients spent their entire check within 2 weeks the last time they handed these out, it can be a good thing to give a quick boost to the economybut to be clear, short term solutions do not solve long term problems.

I don't know how to go about attracting the customers that would be interested in such a property to take it off my hands or if there is any customers out there.

I say that because these people who supposedly pull in 5 figure checks just happen to "come across" a motivated seller or "stumbled upon" a rehab and the seller couldn't wait to get it off his hands..makes me wonder.....

I'm still sitting on my hands.
