My daughter's an agent and she had several people close on houses with an insurance binder only to have them cancel on them due to some problem and she had to scramble to find another agent to write the policy on their homes.

She had aggressive dogs that were getting out, my daughter spent time at my sister in laws playing with her cousins.I called the lady, informed her I was recording the call (which is not necessary in Texas), and told her I was very concerned with her dogs being aggressive and getting out.I told her that going forward, if the dogs got into my SIL (sister in law)s yard, I was going to instruct her to shoot the dogs, and then I was going to file a civil suit against her for putting children in danger and this would be considered her warning I told her I was a dog lover and had dogs myself, but these two dogs were putting children in danger, and she would be held responsible.

The other dilemma I have is that I currently rent close to my daughter's school (NW Austin) and would hate to buy and live on the East side (traffic).

They are coming from Spain (wife + daughter) and he is American. 

My wife will be returning to the area prior to me (due to my daughter having some medical issues that need to be addressed at Seattle Childrens Hospital).  

My daughter has special needs and this has drastically increased my interest in secondary dwelling units, independent living options, and creating a stable source of income for her once I pass on.  

Living in a apartment I promised my Daughter that next year she will have her home again.

My problem is my daughter was born premuture with no insurance , and I have a 124,000 hospital bill .

While I had my prior agent for 30 years, I dropped them when my daughter was a new driver, my insurance doubled when I added her, another $350/month on top of the $350/month.

Louis area, and my daughters both went to college in Springfield, MO.
