I knew the risk in pulling the trigger on that stuff and balanced it with the desire of wanting to have the property ready to rent as soon as possible to capitalize on summer rates.

If you trust your agent/person/team in your remote location- you should be pull the trigger ready.

Most folks think about it, analyze it forever and never pull the trigger.  

How did you approach the “depreciation recapture” roadblock on transfer or did you only do subject-to where it didn’t trigger?

I have talked to many portfolio and hard money lenders I just never pulled the trigger.
