No changes in terms other than the interest.I'll find out more in a few days but in the mean time, I wonder if anyone here might be able to shed some light on this type of modification.

I have looked through many of the house hacking related articles, but I havent seen anybody mention if they make a calculation adjustment for if you are house hacking.What I was looking for would be something in the rental property calculator that also takes into account the rent you are currently paying before you move into the multi-family you are about to purchase.For a little background on my situation, I am looking to buy in the Denver area near a light rail station.

When the sun is out, the house is filled with all the natural light and it makes it very positive.

Sooner or later a municipality cannot pay for lights, road repair, even fire if there are not enough people paying into the system.  

We sanded and re-stained our floors and used Minwax 'Provincial'...We were torn whether to go with a light stain or a dark stain, so we met in the middle...

Depending on how hard the tenant is on the floors a light sanding is all that's needed to make ready for the next move in.

I can tell you, just starting in commercial appraisal, you will be doing all the basic research for the subject property, comp research, pulling demographic data, macro/micro market research, light report writing, and maybe site visit help so bring this up to them that you wish to do this for them until you are ready to write reports.
