I am very new to the country, just 7 years old and am in the real estate business for the last 2 years.Investing in fixers is a topic of interest to me but since I have never done it for myself, I am in an exploratory stage, just trying to get more info, guidance and leads on such properties in the bay area.I am a bit reluctant to look outside the state.Just sharing something- I invested in pre construction apartments in India and just doubled my money even before they are ready for possession !!

You have your personal banker, straight out of college inputting all of your info in to a computer, and then tells you that either him or his lead will be giving you a call later on, or worse they will quote you something on the spot just to keep you happy and then change their quote three or four times.
