I really would like to know the Pro's & Con's of both especially starting brand new into real estate.I have very little money to be able to invest at the moment (more to come in the next three months) so I'm not sure if Investing is the right option for me.

We have up to 30k at the moment that we are willing to invest in order to preserve a healthy cushion of 'just in case' money.  

In other cases, I think landlords are being close-minded, as you say.From personal experience, I was definitely turned away from units the moment the real estate agent told the landlord I was foreign. 

However, you should be clear on the laws of unlicensed wholesaling in your state and you need to bear in mind that if you back out of the deal at the last moment the owner would take a serious hit to their credit.
