Selling the building, haven't actually closed on it yet, and am looking to invest the gains in small multi-unit residences, and or possibly storage units in the area that we plan to retire to, which is grand lake oklahoma How did you finance this deal?

However, I live in Lake Charles, LA  I wanted to know if there are any monthly or weekly real estate meet ups that I can attend to network in this area and also learn more about real estate .

Right now in the Salt Lake City area properties similar to mine have been selling between 650k and 750k most of which do no get the amount of rents I get and our older properties. 

This also eliminates any "he said" or "she said" allegations that some tenants may try to make in an effort to get an upgrade on a kitchen or bathroom fixture when the property was rented to them for a price that doesn't support the cost of an upgrade on some of these fixtures.
