Hi Friends,

I have a short term vacation rental in the village at mammoth lakes. I am attempting to set up my "team" to address emergencies that arise. Does anyone have recommendations for plumber, hvac, electrician and handyman? Thanks in advance for the assistance!

@Luck Manuel Hello! There is a short term forum which I frequent.

Ask your real estate agent if they own any properties and have recommendations for workers. If they say no find a new agent ;)

See if your area has Takl. It’s like Uber for handymen and cleaners. I’ve got three takl providers at one of my houses right now while I’m spending time with the baby. It rules.

For HVAC if I can’t get a recommendation I try to find someone not too big maybe a 2-3 person operation that is also text friendly.

STR Cleaners are a whole other conversation. Start by going on Airbnb and asking your neighbors for cleaner recommendations.

    Good luck!
