My concern, of course, is how to prevent this going forward if the lines are indeed bad.

A credit check can alert you to any large debts that may prevent your potential tenant from paying their rent.

@Alessandro Machi I've been doing Air bnb for a little over 2 years and I can tell you that Air bnb takes care of all the fees and distributions on the their side. 

Mortgage Company wants $60,000 in back payments and late fee’s to prevent sheriffs sale.

Again, this is my first go at this and I want to make sure I am doing right now to prevent issues later. 

I arrived to Hawaii under Air Force Active Duty orders, put in the barracks with a pretty low wage as an E-3 Airman. 22 years old, no college education, a low 600 credit score and with a $14k car loan on Subaru STi (god I miss it). 

Work the floor with the slightest grade down towards the door way.That should prevent the water from "pooling" on the inside.

I have to call a plumber about once a month, and a heat/air guy once a month.
