My husband and I started to work in the house to make it look great again and finally rent it, but now that it is almost finished and ready to be rented the 4 apartments, the city didn't give me the permission to have 4 electric meters because they say that the house and the land don't have the enough required size for the new codes to be divided in 4 apartments , so they only gave me the permission for 2 electric meters, and this is a problem because the house is completely divided in 4 units with kitchens and bathrooms etc..

When we need new unit we could potentially split it up but for now it seems easiest to keep as is) Electricity $474Rubbish $432Snow removal $385 (we could do this ourselves and ideally want to negotiate his snow blower as part of the purchase!)

I used their deposit to replace all the carpet and have the house professionally cleaned, at first everything was fine, its been about 2 months now, and the new tenet is complaining of  a really strong cat (probably Urine) smell in the master closet, an area we had the carpet replaced. it is a slab foundation, any cheap tricks to get it fixed, I honestly don't know what to do, I would have thought to hire cleaners or replace the carpet, but both have already been done.Thanks in advance for your help,Nick
