The title company will show you as borrower and the seller as the lien holder but the first thing you need to do is pays a title company to run a title search and sees if there are any liens on the property and if the seller has a bank lien beware of the due on sales clause.

My question is, if I purchase a tax deed in Shelby county Alabama for $1,000.00 and the value of the property is $20,000.00, does the pervious owner have to pay the $1,000.00 plus 12% interest for having the property for one year or does the price have to be negotiated with the tax deed holder?
