My first suggestion is to go ahead and get familiar with the jargon early, it will allow you to retain information easier and it will give you a leg up if you're aiming for an entry-level position in REI (this gets your foot in the door and will make it convenient to build connections).Try reading some bestsellers like "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" that help break down the terminology and give some starting guidance.
