And be sure to set up some Keyword Alerts for topics you are interest in or that you have some good knowledge in (as well as some alerts for city names around you, so when new people join or others talk about your area, you can pop in and join those conversations!)

I would recommend that you fill out the keyword alerts and maybe list Ohio, student housing, etc., and you'll be notified whenever those topics are being discussed on the forums.

Key words, key word phrases, and the placement of the key words and phrases are extremely important to the search result placement.The company I use to host my websites also offers free submission to the large number of search engines out there.

Be sure to set up some Keyword Alerts for "DFW" and "Houston" so you can meet new people when they talk about the local area.
