I don't see this being anything like the ice storm back a few years, 07 I think, that was just destructive, it was beautiful at first, but it stripped trees, damaged homes and businesses, lost power for a couple weeks in some areas, looked like a war zone when it melted. .I hope we don't lose power (knock on wood) my generator is buried under stuff in the outbuilding....small managerial over site.

When the weather is nice plant some colorful low maintenance bushes/trees/flowers.

I have a pink tree rose that is actually in full bloom right now in the coldest, snowiest winter.One of my goals with my agricultural business is to educate the masses.

Unless you have some huge trees or buildings that are in the way, the poles and the angled dish pretty much get everything.

I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree, but I do know who to call and/or network with to get the answers and the help I would need.

In Memphis we have a lot of huge Oak Trees.  

I hate trees on tental property. 

For example, my lease states: “Tenant shall be charged for repair of drain blockages or stoppages, unless caused by defective plumbing parts or tree roots invading sewer lines.”

And watch out for those mentors, brokers or other vultures sitting in that dead tree in the desert, get an attorney and learn real estate before you leap.

In general, if you are going to live there, stay away from the Tree streets (streets named after trees) north of Lake St.
