Well, I was informed at about 10:30 this morning that we were out of milk, eggs and bread and that some more sausage or ham might be a good idea if I expected meat with breakfast tomorrow!

Well, thanks a lot Ms. Domestic Manager!

That's when the sleet was coming down, my truck was outside, so scraped the windshield and took off to the store. We are between two valleys on top of a hill, steep hills either direction and one has a sharp curve toward the top, the other curves as well but not as sharp, so you speed up getting up the hill but then negotiate a curve!

Well, I took the path of least resistance and made it, slid homeward but mission completed in my trusty 4X4..

This is worse than being snowed in! It's slick as snot on a door knob out there, was hard to walk on it! So, I'm inside now today, tomorrow and probably till Sunday or Monday! Throw another log on!

Anyone else get stranded in the ice? Got milk?
