OR, the property owners abandoned the road way and the city took possession by eminent domain...Now, as like any easement, if you have ALL PARTIES to the agreement sign off on removing an easement of ingress/regress, have a court rule upon it, record it with the city/county, then the parcel of property reverts back to the parcels of original record.

They are also much gentler on a property than younger tenants with kids, or having parties, etc.The downside is that there isn't as much opportunity to push rents and keep them on pace with the market for current tenants.
