Throughout the last year I have attended seminars, read books and watched webinars anything to boost my knowledge in the sense of mending the mind to become successful.

OPM is what makes it in this business, thats Other Peoples Money. credit. if you don't have it, get it. if your credit is shot, fix it. go to www.annualcreditreport.com and work on improving that credit score. its free. and watch the podcasts here on BP. education helps, but it can slow you down. you have to jump in and jump the hurdles that you can and knock down those that you cannot. no on ever learned anything without getting started and failing a time or two. think of all the great inventions created in the last 200 years. not one of them was a success without first figuring out how NOT to do it. good luck to you

I live in Garner,NC and Im looking for a change in my life.Currently I work on tugboat in the area of NYC, gone away from my family 2/3 of the year making decent money, but being gone, not enjoying life is getting to me slowly.

I have looked at every single MF listing on the North side for almost 5 years, so I have been watching it happen.  

First I just want to say that the BiggerPockets team did a great job with the podcasts and I really enjoyed listening to every interviewee.

That's just driving the neighborhoods watching for houses which look empty or unkept.The reason one might consult a tax attorney / CPA is to design your business entity structure.

Find what it is you enjoy about real estate and become better than anyone else in your specific market.If you can't find good deals in your immediate area, look at a nearby community or find another state completely.There's an incredible amount of information on this site for FREE and the community is fantastic.
