The condo owner is apparently unhappy with the progress and is hiring an attorney.

RE & everything else went exponential.US side was already a complete disaster long before the Seneca Casino opened, they hoped and promised it would help recovery and that has even remotely come true.

The loan I take will be the primary source of funding and bank loans will be taken out as the project progresses on the value of the property.

That is the statement that some feel they're making by driving cheap, old cars, basically saying that they know you know they don't have to prove anything financially.Before you write this off as silly, do note that you make faster progress acquiring wealth if you monthly vehicle expense is $600 (including gas, insurance, maintenance and vehicle acquisition costs) instead of closer to 1500 per month.Ok, would love to hear your feedback on this.

@Dave Passey - I'm not sure I understand your question, but I haven't actually found a property or executed any deals, I consider this an in-progress transaction that I hope will turn into a "deal".  

I'd consider working with other lenders if it's an impediment to progress.
