I have not added value yet but the kitchen and bathrooms are little outdated which was part of the reason I picked the house.

I also install all hurricane proof windows and doors which you only get $1.5K return out of $15K cost just to buy myself peace of mind during hurricane season.

Our guy ran into the kitchen to get to the back door as fast as he could, mortified at the lack of modesty of the young generation!

Question the big window on the front that changed to 3 windows, was that a big company or a local contractor? 

I would do nothing beforehand except obvious safety concerns-broken windows and loose or missing rails.

That seemed odd to me since most renters would be curious about other things like kitchen , furnace e.t.c.
