If you're looking at a 4 plex and the 25%-50% that you'd have to cover is STILL out of your monthly budget- it's not a good investment and it's not a "deal" in the current market place.

Most counties have that information online go to the counties website and search around there is usually a link to a database that houses the property tax information and you can pull up property taxes by address which will give you the current tax bill.

Much of the same advice can be found on BP or in other places online for free.

The good news is since this is government based, it's public record and you have a right to have and use it.Many appraiser's sites are online so you can do this virtually.
