In addition, I’d like to get suggestions on home insurance agents/brokers.

Although they seem to be highly recommended here, I have not been able to find any examples at all of anybody having a good experience with their claims process.Does anyone have any recommendations for other Insurance companies, or a broker that I could speak with for insurance in the Kansas City area? 

I would just give a space heater or 2 and tell them they have to wait just like any other customer 

I ran into a broker before that is no fee but they don't usually take on part timers.

If you have to go with custom sizes, and need extra framing or lots of new trim work it can start to get pricey.
