I work with a lot of them and I have to say most are quite unreasonable because they believe the kool-aid that media spits out to grab eyeballs; few look at raw data.

I know it comes with the territory and we do 300-500 reservations per month so the law of averages apply but people demanding a 50% refund because the wifi went out for 2 hours after a Florida summer thunderstorm and then trashing your review because they did not get their unreasonable request granted is the worst. 

You may have to suck it up and pay, which is the right thing to do.I think your property manager is being unreasonable when you've given notice so far in advance and are willing to try and work with them.
