@Christian Marin - I feel your pain!

Prior to obtaining my college degree I was in the United States Marine Corps and had the pleasure of gaining unbelievable worldly experience.Learning has always been a great passion of mine, but the traditional path of school to a career in a stable market has never appealed to me.

I'm mostly interested in multi-family homes but there is nothing I can afford here in Marin County (San Rafael, Novato, Larkspur, Mill Valley, Corte Madera).

I'm looking at duplexes in the Bay Area (would love to do Marin County) and I'm looking at over $700k for anything decent. 

I'm stationed in San Diego with the Marine Corps coming from Colorado.

I am a Merchant Mariner, US Navy Reservist, and now a new Real Estate Investor.

I'm a Marine and currently still living in North Carolina but will be moving back to the Noblesville area this summer. 

I am also a AD Marine so he said I could use my VA loan to my advantage.

.- Each team also has a focus: Retail, Commercial, Residential, Infrastructure, Marine, Office, etc...- I have been focusing on networking with the Acquisition and Research teams since I believe those will be the most visible roles to the investment process- I have read a few Broker/Agent/Investing books and reading RE Financing/Investing right now.

After three years of that, I left to join the Marines maintaining AV-8BB Harriers.
