@Jeff LaniadoI just closed on an Investment property in Philadelphia, PA and they required me to put down 25% as well, just curious did you use a lender from New Jersey, or from somewhere else?

They are California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Vermont and Wisconsin.

And I wouldn't be at all surprised if the taxes are $630/month, sounds about right for that area of Jersey.

During my college years, I worked with my father on his real estate rental (3-family apartment) and have experience with basic constructions and real estate laws.I currently live in Queens, NYC, and want to house hack a 3-4 unit fixer-upper property in New Jersey.

For about the third or so time in a couple months, I'm referencing links to two PDFs on readable New Jersey landlord/tenant laws.

I've met investors who've done very well in Upstate ny, Connecticut, new jersey. 

I've lived in New Jersey, but those property taxes are BRUTAL.  

I was looking for advice to find a mentor, or if anyone on here was located in the south jersey/philly area (Near Atlantic City) and would be willing for me to intern and watch what they do to be able to learn.
