Hi Chris Fennimore I have one rental in Collingdale and 4 more in the surrounding areas (2 in Sharon Hill and 2 in Lansdowne).

Both of us were resistant to it, so she said, why don't I put the money down, be a 50% silent partner, you guys collect the rent, live in and manage the place.

(Without exception, other than single guys who are LIVING THE LIFE, 4 to a house at the beach or in the Hollywood Hills, renting for $6k to $8k per month because they CHOOSE to.  

The best of life's lessons, in my opinion, are the silent ones.

Find that first deal and get the snowball (BRRRR process) rolling down the hill.

We were originally looking at it as part of a larger mixed use development that didn't pan out because water is scarce in the hill country and cost prohibitive to bring it out this far (this is about 40 minutes from down town San Antonio - closest city water supply is 6 miles).
