Guru training or some real life experience?

Just a thought about the expensive (30-50k) guru trainings.

First of all, I don't know if anyone would really consider paying 30-50k for any kind of training. If not, than I wonder how are this people still in business.

Secondly, if you have that kind of cash to spend on a training, why not just do your research, look for free advice here on BP, and just go ahead and buy your first property. You will learn an awful lot more in this real life exercise, than you would in any training. And even if it doesn't  work out, or can't make it work, sell it. You won't be 50k out of pocket. And you have your first real estate deal under your belt. Next time you'll know it better.

What are your thoughts? Please let me know.

To be honest, most of what you learn is out in the field...through experience. Books and courses can provide basic guidelines though are based on the experience of others. Your experience may be different. Taking action and making mistakes is all part of success. Good luck!
