I've owned and rehabbed houses before but they where either projects assisting family members or they where organic efforts of my own with no clear focus.I have worked in the corporate world for 15 years owning and operating a business along the way.I have a successful career in the Telecommunications industry but I'm starting to dream the dreams of financial independence through real estate investment.The wealth of knowledge found here is FANTASTIC and really appreciated!

I'm still pretty new to RE investing and am trying to set up systems to keep myself organized.

Some are deeded as Single Family dwellings - no association, Some are organized under and part of an HOA!

Volunteer your time, learn the business, help them out, grow.Hope that helps some!

I think if you are seriously considering organizing something like that, and want to discuss, that we should have a conference call with the interested parties - quicker than endless emails.

One of the things that is fun about the industry is trying to figure out how to keep organizing and getting your hands on more capital.

I can see how staying local to Josh is easier for him, but I am quite sure we could get enough volunteer help to make a different venue happen.I just returned from my office on the 60th floor of the Cosmopolitan last night.

I would spend some time here on BP reading about whatever type of investing you're interested in, visit some local REIAs and network with other investors, and try to find someone who has been successful at what you want to do -- then offer to volunteer some time for his business in return for some mentorship.Most importantly, don't rush it...
