I see where Josh and Jon H are getting some help!

J. Scott and James V were mentioned, but just posted and I see Jon K. as well, any others?

I'm a mod somewhere else, it can be a pain, but congrats I suppose in stepping up to help, I'm sure it's not about the money! LOL

So,heres is the question, how do are new mods see their new responsibilities while balancing possible business relationships with those they may need to provide guidance to, your thoughts mods.

Obviously you see it as a plus, credibility angle, but any down sides? What you may be giving up as an average member on a site as to the plus sides? If any at all....

Enjoy! :)

Bill,

Having the title "moderator" added to my posts isn't going to change how I post very much, if at all. I have been asked to focus on several things such as helping threads stay on topic, keeping threads moving if they still have value in them, welcoming new members to the site, and providing an extra set of eyes for inappropriate content/spam. I do not see any change (positive or negative) to having the title moderator when it comes to business relationships...other than maybe the credibility factor you mentioned (which I hope I had going for me anyways).

I cannot think of a single negative aspect...I decided to do it because BP was a huge part of my success and I have really enjoyed being a part of it. I hope by being more involved, and assisting in those areas I have been asked to help, I can make BP a little bit better both for BP vets and new members alike.
