It would be in his best interests, even in just a professional capacity to reach out to the investigators handling this case to provide whatever information or contact he had to assist in their prosecution…and if he didn’t offer that I personally question what role he played in it all?

Some weeks our checks from criminal restitution payments exceeds the coin collections...Leasing the coin op businesses to hard working immigrant families was the best thing I ever did with these ventures.

A person engaging in criminal activity wouldn't announce where they will be.   

Clayton and Natalie are no dummies they knew they would get wiped out financially so they decamped.. very tough to sue someone in another country .. the only remedy or justice will be if the US govmit in some form or fashion decides ( like his partner Whalen) to bring criminal charges..

Personally I like the idea, just unsure of the legality of it haha.As far as calling the police generally around me the police hate and sometimes flat out refuse to get involved in tenant/LL conflicts and tell you it is a civil matter and unless a criminal law has been violated there is nothing they can do.
