My experience in countries and cities that depend heavily on tourism has been excellent (Mexico, Greece, Thailand, New Orleans, Galveston). my visits to places less dependent on tourism have been more mixed.

I've been to Birmingham several times in the last few years, but never to scout the city for property (visiting UAB Hospital). 

I almost bought a property, but my mother said it was TOO cold for her to visit. :(   Can someone from Arkansas please provide perspective?

In my first two investments with them I'm finding some "missed layups" in this regard and wondering if it is a thing, and if so, does it say anything about their quality assurance processes and attention to detail?
