Hey @Philip Joseph,  I would ONE hundred percent recommend talking to local banks before you finalize that loan.

While this may seem like a quick process from this post, it took around 5 months from signing listing papers, to final closing day. 

After a few months of checking in with both my loan processor & loan advisor, we finally got the clear to close.

I've been building on my knowledge for the past two years and finally have a plan to buy a home in February 2022.
