Postcards do tend to lower rates then letters, but we've had good response rates (.5%) on our recent mass postcard campaigns with customized cards.  

I'm about to start my direct mail campaign next week and will be putting a good amount of money into my marketing and I want to make sure it's not going to waste!

I definitely have more learning to do but want to start my Facebook campaign as soon as possible to start going through the trial and errors of determining the best marketing for my area for motivated sellers.

I have used Zillow to build a list for a direct mail campaign and I ave gotten a few leads from that so it is a great free solution.

Even the folks in Indiegogo admit that at least half of your donations come from people you know will donate prior to launching the campaign.
