At first the manager said to leave it because it had life left and its free of stains and tears, but its certainly not new. now she's saying to replace it and blaming the carpet solely on the extended vacancy.

There is also some moisture stains in the roof.Wires on the outside of the house seems to be defective.

The smoke damage is quite substantial with nicotine staining on the ceilings, walls, and AC vents.

I do allow same-day check-ins and frequently have them.I do not ask them to strip the beds - this is at my housekeeper's request, so they can better identify any stains or damage to the linens (easier when it's on the bed than in a pile on the floor).  

We purchase carpet from a company called Barton Carpet in San Antonio that is virtually stain proof.
