Inspection report review
Thanks to the vast resources from BiggerPockets, I am finally in process to purchase my first rental property. I will doing an out of state purchase in Taylor, Michigan. I am currently reviewing the inspection report and confused/scared if I should move forward with the deal or not. Please see attached photos of the inspection report. Can anyone please provide me with some feedbacks?
- Is the sagging floor acceptable?
- Is insulation and vapor barrier necessary?
- Missing shingles in the roof- Is this something a handy man can fix? There is also some moisture stains in the roof.
- Wires on the outside of the house seems to be defective. Should I hire a electrician to take a look at this?
- Inspector recommended replacing the cooling system as it is more than 20 to 25 years old.
- Windows are falling rapidly, is this a sign of structural failure?
Any feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you.
