I've learned through the years that people (especially some politicians--but I won't go there) will lie to you whether you're dealing with them face-to-face, via e-mail, or via phone.

They says its because of a law that prohibits making politicians home addresses public and that because they can't identify who's a politician and who's not, so they don't make records available online.But the idea is still valid.

This is another indication that there needs to be outside checks and balances placed on those agencies that control a lot of politicians pockets.
